I was being followed. No matter which way I turned he was always a few paces away. As I was changing my money at the money booth I caught his reflection in the glass. He appeared to be reading a local newspaper but he was holding it upside down . The lettering on the paper was all backwards and funny looking
I'm a professional and I know these things.
I needed to come up with a plan so I sat on a bench and took out my pen and my leather covered pad and proceeded to list out my different options. I needed a clear head and writing in my pad always cleared my head.
My plan was to go into the Medina but that was too obvious and simple. I needed to throw them off.
So rather than do the obvious and simple I decided to
go to Casablanca and visit Rick's Place.
Time to put my professional skills into action.
I am debating if I should call Kumar for help.
We shall see.

Very good to clear mind with leather book and pencil and diagram sir. Upside down newspaper NOT Mister E. Mister E more better professional maybe some other gentleman following not Mister E.
ReplyDeleteMaybe upside down paper Mister E. Maybe to throw off me because he know I familiar with Mister E very professional. Maybe yes may be no.
ReplyDeleteKumar
ReplyDeleteyou are very wise. The thought that this was Mr E being there and being so obvious was part of his plan to throw me off ?? Mr E has many many friends with Mayors and Presidents and he could be toying
with me. We will see.
Wish me well Kumar

He called me several times. He knew my name and number. My phone would never show his number. He said her was E and was working on a television show. He wanted to speak to my local assistant whose brother owns a local fondue joint and asked if you can drink the local water in the desert. I told him there was no water in the desert but he said it was but a myth.
ReplyDeleteA turbaned bloke fitting the description stayed at my place one night. He got sick all over the room. Then he had pizza brought in by his travel companion whose name I think was Hamza. He bought the pizza in the souk. He had consumption grade argan oil on his pizza and carried with him several leather bags filled with note books, pencils and pencil sharpeners. Diagrams and maps everywhere.
ReplyDeleteMandy, Sophie , Kumar

ReplyDeleteI will stop by to see you in Marrakech...this sounds like Mr E
The pencils and pencil sharpeners gave it away. He has all of his
pencil sharpeners engraved with his initials. I am so close to
tracking him down! I now know that coming to Morocco was the right thing to do
